A running stitch worked by hand in metallic red thread secures the cardinal and a single jet bead sparkles as the eye. Blanket stitching in a fine gold metallic thread is worked by hand all around the ornament. A red cording loop is attached at the top for hanging. The back of the ornament is the same red and gold cotton print as the front base.
