Vintage Watt Pottery Apple Pitcher with Ice Lip

$87.00
A true vintage pitcher for your pottery collection. Sunny yellow with an apple & leaves motif, this pitcher was manufactured by the Watt Pottery Company in the USA in the 1950s. This piece is in great condition, with no cracks or significant chips. Some slight glazing on the inside bottom, very light discoloration consistent with age and wear (see photos). This pitcher features an ice lip, and the size indicates it as a #16 or #17 model. It's just over 8" tall, and measures 7.75" from spout edge to top of handle. Lots of Watt pottery pieces were released in the 1990s as reproduction pieces, however, the size, brush strokes and other identifying marks show this piece to be an original made in the 1950s.
